1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ScoutYT ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. What ScoutYT Provides

ScoutYT is an automated intelligence platform that monitors publicly accessible YouTube uploads during their initial 72-hour launch window. The platform alerts you when competitor channels test different thumbnail variants or revise video titles. We provide this data through your web dashboard and email digests.

3. YouTube Independence & Trademarks

ScoutYT is completely independent. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with YouTube, LLC, Google LLC, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

The names "YouTube", YouTube channel names, logos, video titles, and thumbnails are trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. ScoutYT only references publicly viewable metadata and imagery for identification and research purposes.

4. Account Responsibility & Fair Use

To keep ScoutYT reliable and fast for everyone, you agree to:

• Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
• Respect the channel tracking limits of your current plan (e.g. 3 channels on Starter, 30 channels on Creator Pro).
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, bypass rate limits, or disrupt the operation of ScoutYT.
• Not resell, redistribute, or white-label ScoutYT data without express written permission.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellations

We offer both free tier accounts and paid subscription plans ("Creator Pro"):

• Billing Cycle: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on your selection.
• Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your account billing settings. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current paid billing period.
• Refunds: If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge at hi@scoutyt.com and we will work with you to make it right.

6. Service Availability & Public Data

ScoutYT depends on public internet feeds and YouTube CDN servers to detect updates. While we work continuously to ensure rapid alerts and high uptime, we cannot guarantee that every third-party public swap will be captured instantaneously without delay. ScoutYT is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

ScoutYT is designed to give you research insights into thumbnail and title decisions made by other creators. How you design your own titles and thumbnails is entirely your decision. ScoutYT is not liable for your YouTube channel's CTR, view counts, subscriber growth, or revenue.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScoutYT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
